What is an Accredited Certifier?

Complete Certification is Accredited by the NSW Building Professionals Board to Issue Building Approvals.

The Statutory Obligations of the Accredited Certifier are mainly set out in the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Building Professionals Act 2005 and associated regulations.

The Role of the Accredited Certifier.

Complete Certification is Accredited to –

  • Issue Complying Development “Fast Track” Approvals and
  • Construction Certificates once your DA has been issued by Council.

Undertake Critical Stage Inspections

We undertake the “Critical Stage” Inspections at the following stages during construction

  • Commencement
  • Footings/Slab
  • Frame
  • Waterproofing
  • Additional Inspections (If Required)
  • Final

​To ensure the development is –

  • Being constructed in accordance with the Approved Plans.
  • The Building will Satisfy the Provisions set out in the National Construction Code and Relevant Australian Standards.

Issue Occupation Certificate

Prior to the building being Occupied
We must ensure

  • All Consent Conditions have been addressed and
  • The building is suitable for occupation and
  • The Health and Safety of the Occupants has been taken into consideration before issuing a Interim or Final Occupation Certificate.
